WELCOME TO OUR PRACTICE

 

Louisiana-Mississippi Foot Specialists serves the Central Mississippi area with locations in Ridgeland, Flowood and Copiah County and welcomes patients of all ages. Our philosophy is to provide the best compassionate comprehensive foot care in a comfortable and friendly setting. We value patient education and our goal is to provide you with all of the information you need to make an informed decision about your podiatric care. We believe that informed patients make better choices regarding their health and well-being. We also believe that the doctor-patient relationship is a partnership, where we work together to form individualized treatment plans, as we understand that all patients are unique.

 

Dr. Stephanie Phelan, DPM, graduated from Xavier University of Ohio in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1991, where she was a 4 year member of the Xavier University Women’s Volleyball Team. She enrolled and graduated from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, located in Miami Shores, Florida in 1996. She performed her residency training at the Veterans Administration in Tampa, Florida in 1996-1997.

 

Dr. James Phelan, DPM, graduated in 1991 from Augusta State University in Augusta, Georgia. He then enrolled in the School of Podiatric Medicine at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida and graduated in 1995. He performed his residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Veterans Administration, in Baltimore, Maryland in 1995-1996. He got Board Certified by The American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry in 1999.

 

Together, Drs. Phelan have maintained their practice in the central Mississippi area for the past since 1997, and have been practicing for 18 years.
